Keep your Emails them short and straightforward.
People don't want to read lengthy emails, just as they do not want to read long articles. Choose your topic and then write on the topic as quickly and concisely as you possibly can. This can get the way quickly and keep the interest of the prospects and will make sure they are more prone to open your future emails.
Don't overload their Email Boxes
There are lots of firms that feel the the easy way get their message across would be to flood their database with email after email. Don't do it. This fills up their boxes and will cause them to become treat your emails as spam so that future emails of your stuff don't reach them. Or they'll just delete your emails without opening them.
Email to your clientele sparingly. If you speak to your list more infrequently with valuable information then they will look forward to your emails and open them every time.
Give Valuable Content or Information
The crowd receiving your emails should have grounds to spread out and read them. They have to go from your email whether it's information they need, something they are able to learn or a sale or offer.
Recall the AIDA formula
1. Attention - this would be your subject line, and has to become strong to ensure they are want to open the e-mail
2. Interest - what is it in your email which will interest them, offer them value and can get them to want to read it.
3. Desire - what is it inside your email and build the need for them to take action and last but not least
4. Action - what is your call to action, and also have you've made it easy to allow them to go ahead and take next thing.
Think about the emails that you will send, place yourself in the positioning of the reader and think about what your email is offering them. Would you open it up? Would you read it all? Would it trigger you to take action? Don't send the email if you cannot answer these questions.
Know your Demographics
Know your audience. For those who have a business then you'll have a very good idea of the crowd you are targeting. If you're just starting out determining who your customers will be is an important part of your strategic business plan. Either way you should know and understand who you are marketing to.
After you have determined your audience you will want to talk with them on their own level. The more you understand the individual you're writing towards the easier it will be to connect together.
